Welcome to the official website of KVELL (Deemed to be University)

Admission 2026-27

One campus, ten UG programmes, seven PG programmes, and a straightforward way in.

About Admissions at KVELL

Choosing an engineering college comes down to a handful of practical questions: what programmes are available, how do you apply, and what does day-to-day campus life look like once you’re in. KVELL’s admission process is built to answer all three without unnecessary back-and-forth.
Undergraduate admission covers ten programmes, spanning Automobile, Biomedical, Civil, Electrical and Electronics, Computer Science, Electronics and Communications, Mechanical, Robotics and Automation Engineering, along with B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science and Biotechnology. Postgraduate admission covers seven programmes, including M.E. in Big Data Analytics, Biometrics and Cyber Security, Computer Science and Engineering with a Networks specialization, and Manufacturing Engineering, alongside M.Tech Biotechnology, MCA, and MBA. A Lateral Entry pathway is also available across most undergraduate engineering disciplines for diploma holders and B.Sc. graduates looking to join directly into the second year.
The application itself is simple: fill in your name, mobile number, email, district, and academic level, Undergraduate, Postgraduate, or Lateral Entry, then select your specific course of interest. From there, an admission coordinator follows up directly with everything you need to move forward, no need to chase information from multiple departments.
The campus itself sits on GST Road, close to the midpoint between Mahindra City and Madhuranthagam, and less than 15 minutes from Chengalpattu, with buses and autos available at the main gate around the clock. It’s not a standalone engineering block either. The same green campus houses the Engineering college alongside Dental, Nursing, and Medical colleges, a multispecialty hospital, an auditorium, cafeteria, student hostels, staff quarters, and a global school, giving students access to a much larger ecosystem than a typical single-purpose campus offers.
Academic sessions typically begin in July or August, with admissions opening three to four months ahead of that, so starting the process early gives you a real advantage in securing your preferred course and hostel arrangements. Hostel facilities are available for both boys and girls, and the college also runs its own bus service covering a wide catchment area in all four directions, with route-specific details available directly from the admissions office.
Regular working hours run from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, though this can shift slightly during examination periods.
